Recording / Music Studio Feasibility Study

jeff Heaton Lake City DIRT is working to increase access to the arts and outdoor recreation in our community. We received a technical assistance grant for a recording / music studio feasibility study.  This potential for year-round traffic for recording, writing, and performing is interesting as we craft our music scene.  This project is funded by the Colorado Main Street program.   Let us know what you think! This email address is being protected from spambots. Coffee & Conversation to be held Thursday, April 25, 2019

Please join us for the next Coffee & Conversation at the Confluence at 9:00 a.m. on April 25th.  Events are informal, with coffee sponsored by Lake City DIRT.

We will be following up with emergency recovery assistance opportunities and determining consistent marketing for the upcoming season.  Please come and brainstorm about resident and tourist messaging and how to access state assistance.

Sandbags and Flowers

sandbags flowersThanks to the overwhelming assistance from the State of Colorado and other partners, Lake City is prepared for potential flooding after an unprecedented avalanche cycle.  Sandbags and hanging baskets of flowers were delivered to Main Street businesses on the same day!  The air temperatures are cooperating with a steady run-off and there is no imminent threat.  Come and enjoy Lake City today!
