The Lake City Community Youth Corps developed out of a
need to engage local youth in meaningful service projects.
Using the Community Youth Corps as a model, we partnered
with the Southwest Conservation Corps to develop a
uniquely Lake City experience.
This program began in 2007, with a crew of eight
participants and two leaders. The 2008 program worked
with 15 youth and 3 adult leaders.
