We the community will provide good stewardship of historic
Lake City/Hinsdale County and the natural landscape, while
creating a special place for both residents and visitors.  We will
build a community that emphasizes quality of life and respects
the diversity of its people.  We will develop and implement
growth management programs that move us toward economic
diversity.  We accept responsibility for the care of our unique
and unspoiled natural environment.
